Ojt Experience

I thought it was hard for me to apply this course tourism because this course was my dream before and now i am one of the front office agent assistant, bell girl, receptionist and telephone operator which is my dream. Well, i can only say that i have a lot of struggles of body language and the communication skills but i challenge my self that i can make it this all circumstances i have face. I would like to say to everyone that even though we are failure but we never give up because they will all pass and we will be a successful Tourism.

It’s not easy to be a tourism student, because it’s very difficult to memorize everything, but I only fight because it’s what I want, it’s the course where I’m comfortable and where I’m okay with okay. I’ve been through this a lot since I don’t think I really can because I have trouble getting it. But it’s okay, I am fighting because I dream of becoming a Tourism, and hopefully next time I will be a succesful tourism. Through this job I learned to practice my English for better communication to the foreign passengers. The 150 hours of this job helps me gain my confidence in dealing with people. I never forget my OJT experience. I will use my knowledge and experience for future.

This job is where I find myself and where I am happy. And here I also learned how to lower pride when there is a bad customer, not a bad one. I’m so glad I put it here because these are with me they are so fun and the staffs there are so kind, you can’t worry about that because they will help you then. all I can say to my teammates and staff is a thank you and they are such an inspiration, because they treat us differently as if we were really working. I have been asked many times by my front office managers whether or not it is difficult, their answer is hard to do, but if you keep working longer, it will be okay and it will be comfortable. There I take courage because they say everything is true, and to each one of them I make an inspiration.
I also experience serving in the function hall, assisting in customer rooms, cleaning rooms, checking rooms and managing f & b restaurants. I’m happy because that’s all I’ve been through, because I’m comfortable with it. And hopefully, it will come true. And above all, I wish I could improve myself on how to serve the perfect customer service. I wanted to be a FOA because that was one of my dreams because I wanted to.
